I need help with my thesis?

i only have an idea for the first one. because they did things their own way...they all decided to be their individual self and be what the rest of society considered 'weird' they went against what was ususally considered moral and questionable. so you would agree and tell how every one fo them was forced/chose to become their own person adn american identity.
