Pregnant - what are my options?
hi i need some objective, non judgemental advice. i am 21, with my partner five years, work part time as a teaching istant after finishing my degree last summer. im earning 100 quid a week as i only work 8 hours. i have just found out i am 6 weeks pregnant. my partner doesnt no wot he wants to do, but we are engaged and both want childen, but we arent sure i now is the right time. he is 26 and works full time and makes a decent living. we stil both live at home however, and if we kept the baby then we wud have to move in together. i was wondering what kind of help i would get to support my baby and myself? i have always wanted 2 b a stay at home mum, but im not sure if relying on my partner fully issomething i want to do this early in my life - if i stop working now, i might never go back, and im so young to give up any kind of career. but i do not really agree with abortion if it is not totally necessary, and i think i am mature enough to cope with looking after and loving a child. i just dont know if i will cope financially. also, my mum was alot older wen she had me and my brother, and doesnt agree with young parents - any advice on how to break the news if i decide to keep it?
