Sinus and facial problems from TMJ?

A year ago I had 2 cat scans done on sinuses and head, 1 cat scan on neck and 1 xray on neck. sinuses were the only bad thing. On my right side of face i get symtpoms. Muscle spasms above ear, eye feels twitchy once in a while, tight feeling on right side of face. My right ear feels clogged sometimes, my jaw crackles at times and feels tight. I found a small lump under my ear lobe on my jaw line. Doctor told me a couple weeks ago it is nothing to worry about to leave it be. I have had my family doc tell me she has no clue and i will wake up one day and all the symptoms will go away. The feeling is fine when i first wake up in the morning but when i start my daily routine it gets worse or if i mage that bump. A pulled legament tmj or muslce/nerve damage from tmj? I wore a mouth guard (dentist orders) to help but it made it worse, it made me clench more. I rarely clench now, but i did a year ago from crying and grieving. I do feel somewhat better now than i did a year ago. Any ideas?
