Do you think the US can survive a partisan divided nation in a post 911 world?

Yes, it will survive. But the way things are going, based upon the comments in this forum alone, I think the US will limp along for many years to come. So much hatred for one another within the same country. And for what reason? Because one group does not agree with the other's political leanings. Is that a good reason for hatred? I wouldn't have thought so, but apparently it is sufficient reason in the Greatest Nation in the World! Perhaps the US should take stock internally, before going out to 'save' other nations from internal strife...
