I am looking for a great Town Fair to attend. Sterling, MA fair very disappointing.?

When I was young town fairs featured local products and crafts for sale, along with the Livestock and Midway. Are there any of these types of fair around anymore in New England or are they dieing out? I went to the Sterling Fair and it isn't like it used to be. They had craft and produce exhibits, but very little local products for sale. Homemade pies, perserves, etc are the best! I hated the "Big E" too commercial. Looking for a great old time fair in New England.
