What is life like as a 19d cav scout?

what is day to day life as a cav scout like. what is training like and in iraq or afganistan what is it like for a cav scout i leave for osut at fort knox in feb and am excited but dont know anyone who is or has been a cav scout and was just wondering what life is like for me and my family when i get stationd and i also hear that the cavalry has a lot of history and traditions that the other mos like infantry dont have is that true
